Vardy who will be missing Leicester City’s trip to Manchester United arrived club’s Belvoir Drive base in his Bentley Continental GT which cost £168,000.The 29-year-old will be missing the game due to a one-game ban over his FA improper-conduct charge.
Vardy will be hoping his teammates can notch up a win against the Red Devils which will hand them their first Premier League title in their history.The striker has scored 22 league goals as the club is on the verge of making history. For his feat, a club fan has honoured him by naming his unborn child in his name.
Ashley Marriott says he is doing it to pay tribute to the striker who has been one of Leicester City key players.
“I’ve got a daughter on the way and we’re naming her after Vardy as a middle name,” Marriott told BBC.
To persuade his partner, he had to get 5,000 petition signatures from fans.
